District of Arizona
The United States Marshals Posse (USMP) of the District of Arizona was founded on April 19, 1988. Members educate residents of Arizona about the U.S. Marshals Service through a variety of community outreach events and public service projects. The U.S. Marshals Posse also assists the U.S. Marshals Service in an all-volunteer support capacity on a wide range of projects as requested by the U.S. Marshal of Arizona.
The United States Acting Marshal for the District of Arizona is Van Bayless.

Monday, May 5th, 2025
5:30 P.M. - (optional) Beverages in front of State Capitol and free hot dogs & water in Wesley Bolin Memoral Plaza south parking lot, just south of Peace Officers Memorial statue.
6:30 P.M. - U.S. Marshals Posse meet up at the Arizona Peace Officers Memorial statue.
7:00 P.M. sharp - Memorial Service procession of Motorcycle Honor Guard and survivor families at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza begins.
Uniform: black pants, black cowboy boots, black USMP logo shirt, black belt with USMP buckle, name badge, USMP badge on belt, and black cowboy hat with USMP badge pin. Modern sidearm optional.
Parking lots available: Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza parking lots, lots behind adjacent state agency buildings, and on west side of State Capitol Governor's Tower.
Family is welcome to come and stand in public viewing area.
